Manipur outclass Maharastra 12-0

Rourkela, May 4 (UNI) Manipur routed Maharastra 12-0 while Goa drew with Mizoram 1-1 in the quarter-final matches of the 15th Women's Senior National Football Championship at the Ispat Stadium here today.

Right from the beginning of the match, Manipur players took complete control of the game showing their supremacy in all the departments of the game.

Bala Devi, who scored five goals was adjudged the best player while Geetanjali and Hambi Devi netted two goals each.

In the other match, Goa drew with Mizoram 1-1.Both the goals were netted during the first half.The two teams despite their best effort failed to score any goal in the second half.

While Ramthanpwill scored the first goal for Mizoram in the 19th minute, the equalizer came just after two minutes from Goa's Lauraestbroi.
