New Delhi, Aug 20: Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday announced Rs 1 crore as an award to Olympic medal winner wrestler Sakshi Malik. [Rs 2.5 crore reward for Sakshi Malik]

Sakshi Malik celebrate with the Indian national flag after winning bronze

He also announced a direct promotion for Sakshi Malik's father Sukhbir Malik - a bus conductor with Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC).

Sakshi won a freestyle wrestling bronze medal in the 58 kg category at the ongoing Rio Olympics on Wednesday.
