Indian shooter Manu Bhaker, who recently won two bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics, was honored by Tata Motors with a special gift- a Tata Curvv EV SUV. The 22-year-old, renowned for her expertise in the 10m Air Pistol events, received the electric vehicle as recognition of her impressive achievements on the global stage.
Tata Motors shared the news on social media platform X, where photos of the presentation quickly garnered attention. The gift not only celebrates Bhaker's accomplishments but also reflects Tata Motors' commitment to supporting Indian athletes and promoting the future of electric vehicles (EVs).

The Tata Curvv EV, launched in August, is the latest addition to Tata Motors' lineup, priced between ₹17.49 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh. The sporty coupe-style SUV stands out for its sleek design and advanced features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. Safety is prioritized with six airbags, electronic stability control, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Performance-wise, the Curvv EV comes with two battery options- a 45 kWh pack offering a 430 km range and a 55 kWh pack delivering a 502 km range. With a top speed of 160 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, the EV also supports fast charging, providing a 150 km range with only 15 minutes of charging.
The handover took place at Tata Motors' exclusive EV store in Gurugram on World EV Day, marking a memorable moment for both Bhaker and Tata Motors as they celebrate athletic and technological excellence.
