Indian shooting sensation Manu Bhaker took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a picture with Suryakumar Yadav. In the picture, the duo can be seen posing for a picture by swapping their respective sports.

While Manu Bhaker was seen holding a pose with a batting stance, Suryakumar Yadav could be seen with a pose of a pistol. Notably, Manu recently became the first Indian female athlete to win two medals in a single Olympic edition.

"Learning techniques of a new sport with the Mr. 360 of India! @surya_14kumar," Manu Bhaker posted on X with the picture of the cricketer and herself.

On Saturday, August 24, Indian football legend Baichung Bhutia took to Instagram to share a couple of pictures with Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Manu Bhaker. However, he went on to delete the pictures later.

The rare gathering of star athletes has ignited excitement among Indian sports fans, hinting that it could be a part of an upcoming sports campaign.

"Fun moments with a few Indian sportspersons that have done our country proud," Bhutia posted on Instagram before deleting it.

Manu Bhaker to take a three-month break from the sport

Most recently, Manu Bhaker has confirmed her three-month break in an interview with PTI. She stressed about her bruised hand as a result of her intense training in the run-up to the Paris Olympics 2024. She went on to state that it was a break and not a vacation.

The 22-year-old ace shooter scripted history in the French capital, winning two bronze medals in the women's 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event along with Sarabjot Singh.

There are good chances of Indian fans witnessing the duo of Manu Bhaker and Suryakumar Yadav being India's flagbearers with cricket making its comeback to the Summer Games.

On October 16, 2023, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that the T20 format of the game would feature at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, featuring both men's and women's competitions.
