Polish striker Martyna Dominczak details her plans to upset reigning ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Phetjeeja and earn a potential title shot against atomweight Muay Thai queen Allycia Hellen Rodrigues at ONE Fight Night 38 on 6 December in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 23-year-old Dominczak will challenge the Thai, who returns to her Muay Thai roots for this atomweight clash. The European striker understands the magnitude of facing the two-sport fighter but welcomes the challenge.

Dominczak brings an impressive 3-1 ONE record and 7-1 career mark as a WMC Muay Thai World Champion who has dominated the European circuit. The well-rounded Polish striker has proven herself against elite competition and now faces her biggest test.

Despite entering as a significant underdog against the champion, Dominczak embraces her role and plans to shock fans with an upset victory. She recognizes Phetjeeja's world-class credentials but believes her skills can overcome the Thai legend.

"This is the biggest challenge in my career because Phetjeeja is a really accomplished fighter. She's world-class. She's undefeated in ONE Championship. She's also a champion in kickboxing," Dominczak said.

"But I want to shock the fans and many people and show that even if I'm the underdog, I will beat her. I want to be #1 in the atomweight division right now. I know it very clearly."

The Legion Glogow's striker's confidence comes from her belief that victory over Phetjeeja would establish her as the clear #1 contender in the atomweight Muay Thai division. Dominczak has studied the landscape and understands what defeating a champion would mean for her career trajectory.

Beyond personal achievement, Dominczak believes this bout serves as a title eliminator for Rodrigues' atomweight Muay Thai crown. Dominczak is almost certain the winner will earn the next opportunity against the Brazilian.

"I'm almost sure that the one who wins this fight will be the contender for the belt with Allycia. I'm super excited for this. This also gives me a bigger motivation to beat Phetjeeja and to show that I'm at the top level right now," Dominczak said.
