Bengaluru, August 30: After UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match this past Saturday (August 26), has left fans wondering what the MMA star will do next.
Michael Phelps, a 23-time Olympic gold medalist, came up with a funny idea on Tuesday(August 29) stating, he could come out of retirement and challenge McGregor for a race in the pool.

Phelps is likely referring to a "Saturday Night Live" skit that joked about McGregor's endless pursuits, on SNL's "Weekend Update," McGregor - played by actor Alex Moffat - 'officially announced', "I'm going to fight that shark [that] beat Michael Phelps in that swim race!"
So, will the Irishman accept the American's challenge? You never know what the unpredictable UFC star will do next.
Jokes aside Conor is expected to return to the octagon once his two month medical suspension ends. While, his next opponent is still unknown, many think he'll fight Nate Diaz to complete a triology.
