Conor McGregor tells Paulie Malignaggi to 'join the que'

Bengaluru, August 17: Former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi called out Conor McGregor to a boxing match following a massive fallout with 'Notoriuos' and his camp after the emergence of some scathing photos and a fitting exposition of the recently ill-famed sparring session,

During a media conference call on Wednesday (August 16), Conor responded to the former boxing champion, telling him to get in line just like everyone else that want to fight him.

Speaking to MMA's renowned journalist Ariel Helwani via 'MMA Fighting', McGregor said, "Look, Ariel, tell the kid to join the queue."

"Tell him to shut his mouth and join the queue.... He got his ass whooped and went sprinting, I don't know what else to say about the guy," added Conor.

While McGregor is expected to return to the octagon later this year to defend his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight title he won in November last year, the 'Notoriuos' didn't completely rule out a boxing match against Malignaggi.

"But hey, there is a big list of people that want to get in there and fight me, so tell him to join the queue and we'll see what happens after the (Mayweather) fight."

While Paulie is adamant that he was never knocked down by the Irishman as seen in the leaked clip, UFC president Dana White was quick to respond, Paulie was indeed received a good old fashioned beatdown by a man with zero boxing experience.
