Md Sporting vs George Telegraph tie washed out

Kolkata, Jul 23 (UNI) The Sahara Premier Division league match between Mohammedan Sporting and George Telegraph at the Barasat stadium was abandoned today due to torrential rain.

Referee Dilip Sen called off the play early in the second half as ball was not rolling in the field.

At half time the score was 0-0.

Play in the first half was halted for 20 minutes, five minutes before the break.

It was not known immediately whether points would be distributed among the rivals or a replay of the match would take place.

The referee would submit his report to the Indian Football Association (IFA) which would decide the fate of the match.

Md Sporting have nine points from their previous three wins and GT have five points from three plays-one win and two draws.
