Messi wants to avoid England, face Spain in WC final

London, June 6 (ANI): Ace footballer Lionel Messi is dreaming of an Argentina vs Spain World Cup Final, but doesn't want to face England.

The world player of the year said Argentina is far from being favourites after making hard work of qualifying under coach Diego Maradona.

"People say we didn't play well in the qualifiers and we are not a good team, but I think Argentina may surprise people," the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.

"My ideal final would be against Spain as I would be playing against a lot of my Barcelona team-mates. England has a great team. I hope we can avoid them," he added. (ANI)
