Michael Fennell takes a look at CWG village

New Delhi, Sep 24: After criticising CWG village as "filthy", games' federation chief, Michael Fennell on Sep 24 visited the entire place to enquire about the present state of the village.

Suresh Kalmadi, the Chairman of CWG organising committee, also accompanied Fennell in his visit the place.

Fennell is also expected to meet Cabinet Secretary, KM Chandrashekhar on Sep 24 to discuss the actual state of the Commonwealth Games.

"The final preparations for the Games Village have been of concern to the CGF since viewing the residential zone along with a number of Commonwealth Games Associations advance parties on Sep 15," stated Fennell.

During the meeting on with Delhi CM, Sheila Dixit and Chandrashekhar on Sep 23, PM Manmohan Singh asked Chandrashekhar to meet Fennell and apprise him of the games preparation.
