Min Woo Lee to Make India Debut Alongside Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood at DP World India Championship
Australian golf star Min Woo Lee is set to make his professional debut in India at the 2026 DP World India Championship, joining a world-class field at Delhi Golf Club from October 15 to 18.
The PGA TOUR and DP World Tour winner will feature alongside defending champion Tommy Fleetwood, Career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy, 2026 Open Champion Ryan Fox, Shane Lowry, Justin Rose, Viktor Hovland and Luke Donald. Indian stars Shubhankar Sharma and Anirban Lahiri will also be part of the field.

Lee, who turned professional in 2019, won his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2020 ISPS HANDA Vic Open. He later added two more titles, including a Rolex Series triumph in Scotland. Last season, the Perth-born golfer secured his first PGA TOUR victory at the Texas Children's Houston Open, beating Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland.
The 28-year-old also represented Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympics and played for the International Team at the 2024 Presidents Cup.
The $4 million DP World India Championship was launched by DP World and the DP World Tour in 2025. Co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), it boasts the biggest prize purse for a DP World Tour event held in India.
The tournament will once again form part of the crucial Back 9 phase of the Race to Dubai, serving as the eighth of nine events before the season-ending DP World Tour Play-Offs and the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
The second edition further strengthens India's position on the global golf calendar, following the success of the Hero Indian Open. DP World's wider involvement in Indian sport also includes its partnership with the Delhi Capitals and grassroots initiatives aimed at making golf more accessible.
Tickets for the DP World India Championship are currently available through District by Zomato, with early-bird pricing on offer.
