Mini marathon held at Air Force station

Jalandhar, Sep 28 (UNI) As part of the Air Force day celebrations, a mini marathon and a cycle race was held at Air Force station, Adampur today in which the personnel of the Base and their families took part.

Both the competitions were flagged off by Group Captain P W Ambekar, Station Commander at Adampur.

In his address after the races, the Station Commander congratulated all the winners and thanked all the organisers for the successful completion of the events. Further in his speech he thanked all the personnel and their families for their active participation.

Dr (Mrs) Veena Ambekar, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Associations(AFWWA) gave away the prizes to the winners.
