Mohammadan Sporting beats Amity 2-0

Kolhapur, Mar 25 (UNI) Mohammadan Sporting Club of Kolkata today defeated Amity United Football Club of Haryana 2-0 in the ONGC 2nd Division National League Football Tournament here at the Police Parade grounds.

Mohammadan's Rekyu Barito registered the first goal for his team in the 12th minute.

In the second half, the Kolkata team's Mohammed Munir shot the second goal for his team in the 67th minute making it 2-0. The score remained the same till the end of the game.

Shrimant Shahu Maharaj formally inagurated the 15-day-long tournament.

The tournament is being conducted by the All India Football Federation in cooperation with the Western India Football Association and Kolhapur Sports Association.
