Mohammedan, Kolkata defeats Osean's New Delhi 3-1

Kolhapur, Apr 6 (UNI) Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata, defeated Osean's New Delhi heroes 3-1, in the ONGC 2nd division National League Football tournament, played at Chhatrapati Shahu Stadium here today.

Mohammedan's S A Muritala hit the first goal for his team in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Muritala registered the second goal, to give his team a lead of 2-0.

Two minutes later, Osean's Pradeep Gurung with fine efforts registered the first goal for his side.

In the last moment of the game, once again Mohammedan's Adebayo Tokunbo succeeded in hitting a ball into net to make a 3-1 win against Osean's.

Osean's New Delhi players put forward a better performance compared to their previous matches in this tournament, however they missed opportunity to hit the ball into net consequently.
