Moin Khan acquitted in wife-beating case

Lahore, Feb 11 (UNI) Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan has been acquitted of the charges of abusing and beating his wife Tasneem Khan, who withdrew the case after the ex-player promised never to repeat the behaviour.

The Judicial magistrate at a Karachi court disposed of the case after Tasneem gave her statement yesterday, according to media reports here.

Last month, Moin had to spend a night in lock-up following his wife's complaint that he abused and beat her up.
