London, June 11 (ANI): The 39-year-old son of Formula 1 boss Max Mosley died after taking eleven times more cocaine than a potentially fatal dose, an inquest has heard.

Junkie Alexander Mosley also downed or injected heroin, ecstasy, the horse tranquiliser ketamine, amphetamines and methadone, reports The Sun.

The brilliant Oxford graduate was found slumped at his desk surrounded by drug paraphernalia such as syringes and crack pipes... and a copy of the Financial Times.

He had taken off his trousers to probably inject the drugs into the veins of his legs.

Alexander's father, president of F1's ruling body the FIA, was not at Westminster Coroner's Court to hear of his son's pitiful ending. Nor was any other relative.

Depressed restaurateur Alexander - a junkie for 20 years - was found by cleaner Samara Fadoti in the top floor office of his 1.5 million pound pad in Notting Hill, West London.

She told the inquest: "I screamed his name. He had blood coming from his nose and mouth."

Police Constable James Walsh said that the scene that confronted him was a sorry one.

He said: "His trousers were on the floor. There were spoons and silver paper, unused needles, swabs, a sheaf of 20-pound notes, a pair of scissors and a tube containing what appeared to be a controlled substance. There was blood on the computer keyboard and a copy of the Financial Times."

Pathologist Dr Michael Osborn found puncture marks on the groin and elbow of Alexander - last seen having lunch with his dad three days earlier. (ANI)
