Mother's Day 2023: Badshahpur Forest Corridor Green Run & Walk - Run for a Cause!

Manisha Srivastava is all set to host her first-ever Greenathon along the picturesque Badshahpur Forest Corridor Green Run/Walk, a specially curated event for the residents of Gurugram on May 28 at the Badshahpur Forest Corridor, Sector 72, Gurugram, Haryana.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to the NGO iamgurgaon, which built the Badshahpur Forest Corridor. The Greenathon is scheduled to start at 5:30 am and will conclude at 8:00 am.

The event is set to include 10.5K, 6K, and 3K run/walk categories and will include age groups 18 below 55 and above broken down into four categories.

The event will kickstart with a pre-race 'Run-Walk the Talk' session on May 14, 2023, by the organiser, Manisha Srivastava, exclusively for the 'On-Ground Race Participants'. The pre-race is slated to start at 6:30 am at the Main Entry point of Badshahpur Corridor, Gurgaon.

The participants will be categorised in accordance with their age and gender. The top three winners of each race category (gender-wise) in their respective age group will be awarded the Winners' Trophies. The total registration of the event is capped at 200 participants and will be registered on a 'first come first serve basis'.

The Registration Fee for all categories of the On-Ground Run/Walk event is set to Rs. 1200/- + 6% Evantik Processing fee+ 18%taxes (GST) and for all categories of the Virtual Run/Walk is Rs. 600/- + 6% Evantik Processing Fee + 18% taxes (GST).

The Green Run/Walk is set to be a sustainable initiative to promote fitness and eco-consciousness with the motto of a Plastic-free society. All basic facilities like toilets, Ambulances will be arranged by the organisers for a seamless event.

With an aim to reduce the usage of plastic disposals drinking water will be provided in steel glasses to the people attending the events. The participants will be provided with an event T-shirt and Breakfast. Participants completing the Race/Walk will be awarded a medal and timing certificate.

People will also get the chance to participate in the walk virtually by data syncing for a smooth and seamless experience. The usage of single-use plastic is cancerous to the environment. This event promotes the need of staying fit in today's busy schedule and eco-consciousness. The green corridor will give participants a chance to stay near nature and embrace its beauty.
