Kho Kho star Pratik Waikar has revealed the reason why he idolizes personalities from other sports.
Pratik Waikar emerged as one of the top players of the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2. The Maharashtra-born player is a veteran in Kho Kho, having won Gold medal with India at the senior level.

In an exclusive chat with MyKhel, Waikar revealed his three idols, whom he devotionally follows in every path of his career. The player said that former India captain MS Dhoni, veteran India stalwart Virat Kohli and Argentine legend Lionel Messi are his three idols who have played a huge part in his career.
"Virat Kohli, Lionel Messi and MS Dhoni, they are my idols," Waikar said in an exclusive chat with MyKhel. Then the player opened up on the reason for idolizing the trio.
"I admire this trio as they give priority to the team rather than individual record. If you lose the final, even if you are a star, you are defeated. They want to win the title rather than winning personal accolades, and I like that a lot," Waikar added.
MS Dhoni is a legend of the game, leading India to three ICC trophies, the biggest being the 2011 ODI World Cup. Virat Kohli has also reached heights of success in the game, recently becoming the first player in history of the game to score 50 ODI centuries. Lionel Messi, on the other hand, is a football legend who lifted the World Cup 2022 for Argentina and has been a serial winner with FC Barcelona.
