Last week, ONE Championship announced several blockbuster fights, including both World Title and non-World Title bouts for ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang, which is scheduled to take place at Saitama Super Arena in Japan on 23 March.
Tawanchai PK Saenchai, who recently defended his featherweight Muay Thai crown against Superbon, will fight Japanese legend Masaaki Noiri for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title. Both Tawanchai and Noiri emerged victorious in their bouts at the recently concluded ONE 170.

Reigning two-sport ONE World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 will clash with newly crowned ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane to unify the division's Muay Thai belts. This will mark their second encounter, as they previously fought in 2023 with Superlek scoring a knockout win in the first round.
Also, former titleholders Jonathan Di Bella and Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will go head-to-head for the ONE Interim Strawweight Kickboxing World Title. In the meantime, the division's reigning king Prajanchai PK Saenchai will defend his belt against Ellis Badr Barboza on 8 February.
Before last week's ONE Friday Fights 95 event, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong confirmed that if Japanese striking great Kana Morimoto won her fight, she would earn a shot at the current champion Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom for the ONE Women's Atomweight Kickboxing World Title. And she did win convincingly.
Several other fights were also announced. Last December, it was confirmed that the card will be headlined by two of the greatest strikers of this generation. Former flyweight Muay Thai kingpin Rodtang Jitmuangnon will face former three-division K-1 Champion Takeru Segawa in a five-round flyweight kickboxing super-fight.
In Addition, former champion Adriano Moraes will lock horns with the Japanese fighter Yuya Wakamatsu in a rematch for the vacant ONE Flyweight MMA World Title. Here's the card so far for ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang.
