Murali Kaarthick arrives, Batsmen's camp from tomorrow
Bangalore, June 8 (UNI) Team India's batsmen will slug it out at a five-day 'batsmen's camp', starting from tomorrow, at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) here in preparation for the upcoming Ireland and England tours.
Dinesh Kaarthik was the only player to arrive in the city and the rest were expected to come later tonight or tomorrow, NCA sources said.
The probables selected for the batsmen's camp included Team India Captain Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Wasim Jaffer, VVS Laxman, Gautham Gambir, Robin Uthappa, Virender Sehwag, Dinesh Mongia, M S Dhoni, Dinesh Kaarthik, Rohit Sharma, Mohd Kaif, S Badrinath and Yuvraj Singh.
The Indian team would play three ODIs at Belfast in Ireland against South Africa and an ODI against Pakistan at Glasgow, Scotland. Later, they would emplane for England to play three Tests and seven ODIs against the hosts.
Meanwhile, the five-day bowlers camp held in the Infosys campus, Mysore, concluded today and players returned to the State Capital.
