{image-motor rally_20042008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mysore, Apr 20: The 'R T R Apache Rally of Mysore 2008,' which has 31 participants from various parts of the country, was flagged off here today.

Former national champion Manjunath flagged off the rally on the outskirts of the city. The rally, organised by Motorsportsinc and sponsored by TVS Motors, would have three special stages --eight km ride, ten km ride and seven km ride, organising secretary Jaidas Menon said. The Mysore rally being the first round of the event, another four rounds would be held in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore later this year, Mr Menon said. The first round would conclude at K R Nagara in Mysore district.
