Nani is either brave or stupid to criticize Fergie, says Man U ace

By Super Admin

London, Nov 15(ANI): Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince has said that winger Nani is either brave or stupid to criticize manager Sir Alex Ferguson, as it is not a good move.

Nani had earlier revealed that he had several dressing-room bust-ups with Ferguson, which he feels had exposed the negative aspects of Fergie's man-management style.

"I didn't think Nani had it in him. Be honest, you look at him on the pitch and you don't automatically think, 'There's a brave boy'. But he's obviously got a bit of balls about him, why else would he be determined to wind up Sir Alex Ferguson?" The News of the World quoted Ince, as saying.

"Admittedly, he's done it from the safety of the Portugal camp while Fergie had his mind on an Football Association (FA) disciplinary charge but, even so, it takes some guts to slag off the Boss," he added.

Ince further said that Portuguese star might be in big trouble when he comes back to England, as there have been many players who in the past have received the backlash for criticizing Fergie.

"Somebody might want to whisper the words 'Jaap' and 'Stam' to Nani just to remind him what a world of pain he might have unleashed when he gets back to Manchester. Now I'm sure Nani's agent or representative is going to come out with the old line that everything he's said has been lost in translation," Ince said.

"Perhaps if it had been the odd line, I might have bought that. But Nani's basically written a book where he gives Fergie a cart-load because he doesn't think he's being handled properly,' he added.

The 23-year-old Nani, who cost 16 million pounds from Sporting Lisbon two years ago, has admitted that he had been by confronted Ferguson twice after being subbed against Blackburn and CSKA Moscow. (ANI)
