National Kick-boxing championship in August

Visakhapatnam, Mar 6 (UNI) National Kick-boxing Federation President S S Harichandan today announced that the national championship would be held in Andhra Pradesh in August.

Kick-boxing was introduced in India in 1994.

The sport approved as an Olympic sport by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), would get due recognition from Indian Olympic Association (IOA) this year.
