The National Poker Series India 2024 has made history by drawing nearly 2.3 Lac entries, boosting the prize pool to an impressive INR 62.5+ Crore. This marks a significant increase from the initial INR 50 Crore, highlighting the event's growing popularity.
The closing ceremony, Night of Glory, was a star-studded affair with legendary India cricketer Yuvraj Singh awarding medals to the winners.

Hosted in New Delhi on April 1st, 2024, by PokerBaazi, the event stood out as India's largest Poker competition. PokerBaazi didn’t stop at celebrating the success of this year's series; they announced the upcoming G.O.A.T. tournament.
Scheduled for October 2024, the tournament will celebrate PokerBaazi's 10th anniversary with a massive INR 25 Crore guaranteed prize. Additionally, the MoneyMaker series, with a daily INR 1 Crore prize pool, was launched to keep the poker excitement alive post-Series.
Among the competitors, Deepak Singh from Delhi clinched the gold, becoming the top medallist with 3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. Abhishek Sonu from Bihar and Samay Modi from Maharashtra followed, winning silver and bronze, respectively. Maharashtra led the state medal tally, showcasing the widespread talent and growth of Poker as a favoured mind sport across India, including tier-II cities.
The Night of Glory not only celebrated the winners but also featured performances by comedian Abhishek Upmanyu and DJ NYK. This reflects Poker's integration into popular culture and its rapid growth as a mind sport.
