Kottayam, Nov 16: As many as 40 teams will participate in the 30th senior National Throwball Championship 2007, to be held at the CMS School ground here from December 26 to 29.

Addressing a press conference here today, Programme Committee Chairman P C Elias and State Throwball Aassociation President T K Ibrahim Kutty said New Delhi and Tamil Nadu were the defending champions in the men's and women's sections respectively.
