Stephon Castle has been acknowledged for his impressive debut season in the NBA. The league announced the 2024-25 All-Rookie teams, with the San Antonio Spurs guard being the only player unanimously chosen for the first team. This recognition follows Castle's recent accolade as the 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year.
Castle led all rookies in scoring this season, averaging 14.7 points per game. He received unanimous first-team votes from all 100 ballots cast by a global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. Zaccharie Risacher, who was second to Castle in Rookie of the Year voting, missed a unanimous selection by just one vote.

Joining Castle on the first team are Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher, Washington Wizards forward Alex Sarr, and Memphis Grizzlies teammates Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey. Wells garnered 96 votes for the first team, while Edey received 73 and Sarr secured 54.
The selection of Wells and Edey marks a significant achievement for Memphis Grizzlies. They are the first pair of teammates to be voted onto the first team in a single season since Brandon Clarke and Ja Morant achieved this feat in 2019-20.
The NBA All-Rookie Second Team features three centres: Yves Missi from New Orleans Pelicans, Kelel Ware from Miami Heat, and Donovan Clingan from Portland Trail Blazers. Additionally, Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis and Wizards guard Bub Carrington complete this lineup.
This year's selections highlight emerging talent across various teams. The recognition not only celebrates individual achievements but also underscores teamwork within franchises like Memphis Grizzlies.
