The latest NBA results featured statement wins for the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers. Each team strengthened playoff positions, while the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls slipped further. Late-game execution, standout individual performances and current conference standings shaped a busy night across the league.

The Clippers continued their mid-season recovery with a 119-108 victory against the Chicago Bulls. Toronto edged Phoenix 122-115 after a decisive late surge, while Detroit controlled Memphis 126-110. These NBA results affected both conferences, influencing seeding battles involving the Suns, Pistons, Raptors and Clippers as the regular season moved towards its final stretch.

Raptors Halt Suns; Pistons, Clippers Win

The Los Angeles Clippers improved to 34-32 after outplaying Chicago, securing a fourth straight success. Kawhi Leonard led Los Angeles with 28 points, while Bennedict Mathurin delivered 26 from the bench. That run gave the Clippers a two-game cushion over the Golden State Warriors for eighth place in the Western Conference, reflecting a strong recovery in recent months.

Chicago still received a major performance from Josh Giddey, who posted 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Tre Jones produced 21 points, while Matas Buzelis added 18 points and 11 boards. The Bulls dropped to 27-40 and have now lost 18 of 22 games since sitting ninth in the Eastern Conference in late January.

Giddey’s triple-double was the 11th of the season, tying Atlanta Hawks All-Star Jalen Johnson for second in the NBA. It was also Giddey’s fourth triple-double in six outings. During this stretch, Giddey is averaging 19.5 points, 11.8 assists and 11.2 rebounds, underlining strong individual form despite Chicago’s wider struggles in the standings.

The Toronto Raptors overturned a double-digit deficit to defeat the Phoenix Suns 122-115. Phoenix moved ahead by 10 with 8:12 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Toronto responded with a 27-10 closing stretch. The Raptors entered the contest having dropped six of eight, yet improved to 37-29 with a strong final push.

Brandon Ingram drove the Raptors’ offence with 36 points, while RJ Barrett finished with 22. During the decisive run, Barrett scored nine points and Ingram added seven, sealing the comeback. Toronto also created a two-game gap over the Atlanta Hawks for seventh place in the Eastern Conference, improving the team’s Play-In and playoff outlook.

Despite the loss, Phoenix again showed offensive strength, with Jalen Green scoring 34 points and Devin Booker adding 31. The Suns, who came in on a four-game winning streak, slipped to 39-28. This defeat was only their second in eight games, yet left Phoenix two games behind the sixth-place Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference standings.

The Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons also collected a comfortable win, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 126-110. Jalen Duren produced 30 points and 13 rebounds, while fellow All-Star Cade Cunningham recorded 17 points, 15 assists, eight rebounds and three steals. Detroit moved to 48-18 and has now won three straight after a season-high four-game losing run.

That result extended the Pistons’ lead atop the Eastern Conference to five games over the Boston Celtics. Detroit also maintained a seven-game advantage against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Central Division. Memphis, now 23-43, dropped a seventh successive game, marking the franchise’s longest losing streak since a nine-game slide from January 28 to February 12, 2024.

Javon Small offered a bright spot for Memphis, coming from the bench to score a career-high 23 points. Ty Jerome added 21 points as the Grizzlies absorbed their 20th defeat in 25 outings. Across these NBA results, several teams strengthened playoff positions, while others, including Memphis and Chicago, drifted further from contention.
