This win marked Miami's third consecutive victory, their best streak of the season. Herro, alongside Duncan Robinson, was pivotal in this triumph. Robinson contributed 23 points, hitting four out of six from beyond the arc. The Cavaliers faced their fourth loss of the season.

Herro excelled with five successful three-pointers out of nine attempts and also provided seven assists. Robinson was equally effective, making seven out of eleven shots overall. Jimmy Butler added 18 points for Miami, while Bam Adebayo recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Cleveland's Evan Mobley left in the second quarter due to an ankle injury.
