NBA: New York Knicks And Cleveland Cavaliers Continue Winning Streaks With Recent Victories

The New York Knicks achieved their eighth consecutive win against the Washington Wizards, while the Cleveland Cavaliers secured their seventh straight victory over the Golden State Warriors. Key players included Josh Hart and Darius Garland, showcasing impressive performances.

Josh Hart achieved a triple-double, complementing Karl-Anthony Towns' 32 points and 13 rebounds, as the New York Knicks secured a 126-106 victory over the Washington Wizards. This win marked the Knicks' eighth consecutive triumph. Hart contributed 23 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Towns shot 13-of-19 from the field. The Wizards were led by Jonas Valanciunas with 22 points and nine rebounds.

Despite their struggles this season, the Wizards remained competitive for much of the game. They trailed by just one point late in the third quarter before the Knicks began to pull away. Hart and Miles McBride each hit crucial three-pointers during a 13-5 run that extended New York's lead to 97-88 entering the fourth quarter.

Knicks and Cavaliers Extend Winning Streaks

Karl-Anthony Towns then scored 11 points in the final period as the Knicks outscored Washington by a margin of 29-18. The Wizards struggled from beyond the arc, hitting only one of their twelve attempts in the fourth quarter.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continued their impressive form with a seventh straight win, defeating the Golden State Warriors 113-95. Darius Garland led with 25 points, while Donovan Mitchell added 23. Cleveland's defense was key, holding Golden State to just a 33.3% field goal percentage and a mere 23.7% from three-point range.

Stephen Curry struggled for Golden State, scoring only 11 points on four-of-fourteen shooting. Jonathan Kuminga managed to score 18 points and grab ten rebounds despite his shooting woes. Moses Moody provided a spark off the bench with a team-high of nineteen points.

Nuggets Outlast Jazz with Westbrook's Historic Performance

Russell Westbrook made history by recording a triple-double without any turnovers or missed shots in Denver Nuggets' victory over Utah Jazz. Westbrook scored sixteen points on seven-of-seven shooting and added ten rebounds and ten assists. Nikola Jokic also had a triple-double with thirty-six points, twenty-two rebounds, and eleven assists.

The Nuggets overcame a halftime deficit to secure their seventh win in ten games. Jordan Clarkson led Utah with twenty-four points while Collin Sexton contributed twenty-two in their fourth consecutive loss.

The Nuggets took control after Jokic broke a tie late in the third quarter with key baskets that gave them an advantage heading into the final period. Despite Utah's efforts to close the gap early in the fourth quarter, Denver maintained their lead thanks to Jokic's timely three-pointer that sparked a decisive run.
