NCC school rains 24 goals against Bihar school

New Delhi, Sept 21 (UNI) NCC (North Eastern Region) rained in 24 goals without reply against SGBSK Sahu SS School, Navada (Bihar), in a Group IV league match of the Subroto Cup here today.

For the Aizawl-based side, Lalhlimpuia scored 11 goals (5th, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 32nd, 37th, 47th, 52nd, 60th) including a hat-trick while Lalmanguaihzuala netted four goals in the 3rd, 11th, 31st and 33rd minutes.

Zonunthuanga scored three (23rd, 42nd, 58th), Lalchhampuia (18th, 54th) and MS Dawngreta (34th, 60th) found the net twice min while James (44th) and Issack (50th) contributed one goal each.

In another Group IV league match, local Air Force Bal Bharti School beat Guru Govind Singh Sports College, Lucknow, 2-1.

Gagan Singh scored both the goals in the 30th and 35th minutes while Abhishek Kumar reduced the margin in the 47th minute.

In Group III, MP Sports College, Dehradun, defeated Kreeda Prabodhani School, Pune, 2-0 with Sumit Pundir and Saurab Rawat scoring a goal each in the 45th and 54th minutes.
