After a brief yet scintillating outing in the Javelin throw qualification event, India's crown jewel Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the Final of the Paris Olympics.
Neeraj, who is the defending Gold medalist in Paris, secured a gigantic 89.34-metre throw in his very first attempt and secured the qualification.

Neeraj will now be vying for the ultimate glory in the Final encounter. The entire nation will be behind the Haryana-born as he looks to replicate his Tokyo heroics. The 26-year-old will have some tough competitors alongside him but his guile and class tip him as one of the favourites to win the Gold medal.
Apart from Neeraj, Pakistan athlete Arshad Nadeem also qualified for the Javelin Throw final in his very first attempt and will be taking part in the championship event.

The final event for the Javelin Throw of Olympics 2024 will start at 11:55 pm IST on Thursday, which is 7:15 pm BST in UK, and 2:25 pm ET in the USA.
