Neo Sports gets regional language commentators for Indo-Oz series

Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt Ltd has roped in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil Commentators besides those for English for the India-Australia Cricket Series beginning September 29.

Neo Sports Plus will air multiple language commentary feeds in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu to cater to the wide audiences across the country in addition to English commentary.

Former Indian players Nayan Mongia, Atul Wasan and Yashpal Sharma will provide Hindi commentary while Abdul Jabbar, V Ramamurthy and SB Venkataram will do the commentary in Tamil.

Chandra Mohan and Sudheer Mahavadi will provide their expertise in Telugu, a release issued here said.

Neo Sports Broadcast CEO Shashi Kalathil said, ''Cricket viewership in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh has been traditionally lower than the rest of the country while the overall consumption of local regional TV programmes is very high, contributing close to 30 per cent of overall TV viewership in the country.
