Jonquel Jones contributed 21 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Liberty achieve their highest score of the season. Coach Sandy Brondello celebrated her 100th victory with the team, equalling Richie Adubato's record for most wins in franchise history.

Natasha Cloud played a crucial role by scoring consecutive layups, extending New York's lead to 96-85, which was their largest margin in the game. Sabrina Ionescu added another layup with just over a minute left. After Los Angeles missed a three-pointer, Cloud scored again to push the lead to 102-91. Leonie Fiebich scored 20 points, while Ionescu and Cloud added 14 and 11 points respectively.

Liberty Score Season-High in Win Over Sparks

Kelsey Plum was the top scorer for Los Angeles with 26 points, as they played their fifth game in eight days. Dearica Hamby contributed significantly with 21 points, eight rebounds, and four steals. Azura Stevens and Rickea Jackson also made notable contributions with 17 and 16 points respectively. Cameron Brink did not participate in the second half of the game.

The Dallas Wings ended their five-game losing streak by narrowly defeating the Indiana Fever 81-80. Maddy Siegrist matched her career-best with 22 points during her first start since June. Li Yueru added an impressive 20 points off the bench. Paige Bueckers' assist to Myisha Hines-Allen for a three-pointer gave Dallas a significant lead of 78-61 in the fourth quarter.

Despite Dallas scoring only one more field goal—a three-point play by Yueru—Indiana mounted a comeback. They scored 13 consecutive points as part of a closing run that Kelsey Mitchell capped with a shot in the lane. Mitchell had an opportunity to win it but missed a three-pointer at the buzzer after being surrounded by defenders.

Bueckers ended with 16 points and eight assists for Dallas, who had lost eleven of their last thirteen games before this win. She has consistently scored double figures throughout all games this season. For Indiana, Mitchell led with 24 points including four three-pointers, while Natasha Howard recorded a double-double with twelve points and twelve rebounds.

The Liberty's victory was significant as they bounced back from an earlier loss to Minnesota. Despite missing key players like Breanna Stewart due to injury concerns, they managed to secure an important win against Los Angeles.
