It surely comes as no surprise that India's 'Golden Boy' Pankaj Advani yet again makes it to the top performers of the year.
Advani won a strew of titles in the current year, to make his achievement list a never-ending one.
The Bengaluru cueist, started the year on a winning note, picking up the national billiards and snooker title. That was followed by the the Asian Billiards and the Team Championship.
But that is not the cherry on the cake, the highlight of Advani's year came in November, when the 32-year-old lifted two more World titles, taking his title count to 18.
Advani first won the World Billiards title (150up) format in Doha, followed by bronze in the longer format. Then he went on to win the World Snooker Championship at the same venue. What makes it even more memorable is that Advani is the only cueist to win three World Snooker titles.
