London, Feb 20 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has said he cannot give ace striker Wayne Rooney a rest as his desire to play football is so huge.
Ferguson insisted that Rooney's natural fitness and enthusiasm mean there is no danger of his burnout. "He's a fit lad. He wants to play all the time anyway so it's not a question of what you'd like to do, it's also a question of his desire to keep playing," The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying. Rooney can expect a rough ride from fans at his old club Everton today, but Ferguson sees no problem. "I think he is used to that now. You couldn't have him in better form - so it doesn't matter where we are," he said. (ANI)
