The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Utah Jazz have reportedly completed a significant three-team trade. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Norman Powell will join the Heat, John Collins is heading to the Clippers, and Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson, along with a 2027 second-round draft pick, are moving to the Jazz. This trade reshapes the rosters of all three teams.

Norman Powell has been a standout player in the NBA for a decade. Last season with the Clippers, he achieved his best performance since being drafted by the Toronto Raptors in 2015. In 60 games during the 2024-25 season, Powell averaged 21.8 points per game, marking a career high. His shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was notable at 41.8%, ranking him among the top shooters.

Powell's addition to Miami provides much-needed scoring depth following Jimmy Butler's departure. He complements Tyler Herro well and brings experience from his time with both the Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers. Over his career, Powell has averaged 13.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

John Collins is set to make an impact with the Clippers after two seasons with Utah Jazz. During his time with Utah in the 2024-25 season, Collins averaged 19 points and 8.2 rebounds over 40 games. Drafted by Atlanta Hawks in 2017, he spent six seasons there before joining Utah.

Kevin Love is entering his eighteenth NBA season and brings veteran leadership to Utah Jazz. A five-time All-Star and NBA champion with Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, Love played for Miami last season where he averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds over 23 games.

Kyle Anderson also joins Utah after splitting last season between Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat. The seasoned player averaged 5.9 points, alongside contributing defensively with rebounds and assists across his appearances.
