Despite their success, Jokic emphasised the need for quicker starts. "The Pelicans were shooting well," he noted. "We didn't play good defense in the first half, but we come back. That's the main thing." His comments reflect a desire for improvement despite their ability to rally late in games.

The Nuggets now face a demanding schedule with five games over seven days, starting against the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Coach Michael Malone remains unfazed by this challenge, praising his team's mentality and ability to fight back in games.
