London, Feb 9: Star striker of Manchester United (ManU) Wayne Rooney became the butt of jokes in the Man United dressing room over his odd footwear recently.

According to The Sun, he arrived for a training session in a pair of old man's slippers.

As a result, team mates gave him the nickname'granddad'.
