This matchup featured the top teams from both conferences, each holding a 34-6 record. The Thunder avenged their earlier loss to the Cavaliers, who had previously won 129-122 on January 8.

The Thunder's Lu Dort achieved a season-high of 22 points, while Jalen Williams contributed 19 points. This win marked Oklahoma City's fourth consecutive victory. On the other side, Darius Garland led Cleveland with 20 points and nine assists, and Jarrett Allen added 13 points. Donovan Mitchell, usually a key scorer for Cleveland, was limited to just eight points on 3-for-15 shooting.

Thunder Triumph Over Cavaliers in NBA Clash

Initially trailing at 12-10, Oklahoma City took control with a remarkable 22-2 run to close the first quarter, establishing a 32-14 lead. Gilgeous-Alexander was instrumental in this surge, scoring 15 points in the opening period alone. By halftime, he had added another burst of scoring with 11 points in just three minutes, helping the Thunder secure a substantial 75-49 advantage.

The Thunder maintained their momentum into the third quarter, matching their season high by scoring 44 points and extending their lead to 119-81. Throughout the game, they committed only six turnovers compared to Cleveland's 21.

In another thrilling game, DeMar DeRozan scored 31 points as the Sacramento Kings narrowly defeated the Houston Rockets with a score of 132-127. Malik Monk also shone for Sacramento with 28 points and nine assists. Monk secured the win by making four crucial free throws towards the end. The Kings improved their record to 21-20 after winning eight of their last nine games.

Sacramento's Domantas Sabonis contributed significantly with a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds along with seven assists. De'Aaron Fox added another layer of support by scoring 19 points. For Houston, Jalen Green led with his own impressive tally of 28 points while Alperen Şengün recorded a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds.

Pacers Triumph Over Pistons

Myles Turner was pivotal for the Indiana Pacers as they triumphed over the Detroit Pistons with a scoreline of 111-100. Turner scored an impressive total of 28 points and tied his career-high by making eight three-pointers out of eleven attempts. Pascal Siakam supported him well by adding another solid performance with his contribution of 26 points.

The Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton also played an essential role by scoring seventeen points alongside providing eight assists as Indiana secured its seventh win in eight games. Despite Detroit's Cade Cunningham putting up twenty points and nine assists, his shooting accuracy was off at seven for twenty-one attempts.

The Pistons had been on an impressive run themselves before this encounter having won ten out of twelve games prior but struggled against Indiana’s defense particularly from beyond-the-arc where they shot only two-for-seventeen during second half playtime.
