In another match, Jayson Tatum's performance helped Boston Celtics secure a narrow win over Minnesota Timberwolves, finishing at 118-115. Tatum scored 33 points along with nine assists and eight rebounds. Derrick White added 26 points for Boston, while Sam Hauser stepped up with five three-pointers and scored 15 points in Jaylen Brown's absence.

The Timberwolves were led by Julius Randle with 27 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Naz Reid contributed significantly off the bench with 20 points, while Jaden McDaniels added another 19 points and eight rebounds. Despite trailing by eight with two minutes left, Minnesota had a chance to force overtime but missed a crucial three-pointer at the buzzer.

Lakers Triumph Without Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers managed a win against Portland Trail Blazers despite Anthony Davis being sidelined due to an ankle injury. Austin Reaves also contributed significantly with his all-around performance of 15 points, eleven assists, and eight rebounds. Anfernee Simons scored eleven out of his total twenty-three points in the fourth quarter for Portland but could not prevent their loss.
