Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has qualified for her third shooting final at the Paris Olympics 2024, finishing second in the 25m pistol qualification. Bhaker, who has already claimed two bronze medals in the individual and mixed events, will be eyeing her third medal at the finals scheduled for Saturday.
On Friday, August 2, the 22-year-old showcased her exceptional form and consistency throughout the women's 25m pistol precision qualification round. Bhaker maintained a strong position in the top three and concluded the qualification stage with an impressive score of 590-24x, securing her place among the top eight finalists.

Bhaker's journey in the qualification round was marked by precision and focus. Despite the intense competition, she managed to finish third in the earlier qualification precision stage, tying with Hungary’s V.

India's other participant in the event, Esha Singh, struggled from the beginning and finished 18th with a total score of 581-17x.
During the rapid stage, Bhaker's performance was particularly noteworthy. She began with a perfect series of 100, only faltering with her 43rd shot, which was an 8. However, she quickly recovered, scoring ten on the remaining shots. This exceptional consistency placed her securely in the top two, ensuring her place in the finals.
