China's dominance in this event continues from their performance in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where Haoran Yang and Qian Yang won gold in the same event. Sheng Lihao, who finished 11th in Tokyo when paired with Yu Zhang, has now ascended to the top of the podium.

Indian Teams' Performance

India had two teams participating in the mixed team 10m air rifle event. Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta finished sixth, posting a total score of 628.7. Meanwhile, Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh ended the event in 12th place with an aggregate score of 626.3. Despite their efforts, neither team advanced to the medal rounds.
