The Olympics 2024 is fast approaching, and participating nations have started announcing their flagbearers for the Parade of Nations at the Paris Games opening ceremony, which is scheduled to be held on Friday (October 26).
The Paris Olympics 2024 opening ceremony will break from tradition by taking place outside the main athletics stadium. Although the organizers have kept specific details under wraps, the event set to take place in the hear of the city, is likely to draw upto 500,000 spectators.

While the complete details of the opening ceremony remains undisclosed, the flagbearers of their respective nations are being revealed since the start of the month with some of sports biggest names featuring in the list.
Each flag bearer will be chosen either by the team's National Olympic Committee or by the athletes themselves. Also, like in Tokyo 2020, each team will have the option of having a male flag bearer and a female flag bearer in an effort to promote gender equality.
From India's ace shuttler PV Sindhu to USA basketball star LeBron James, here is a look at the flagbearers announced so far for the Paris Olympics opening ceremony set to be held on Friday (July 26) evening:
Note: The list will be further updated as and when the nations announce their flagbearers. Some nations have partially made their announcement of just the male flagbearer with the female flagbearer or vice-versa.
