India's Sarabjot Singh and Manu Bhaker created history as the duo won Bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event at the Olympics 2024.
Bhaker, who won the Bronze in the individual event, had a superb outing again. Sarabjot missed out on final in the individual event very narrowly, but came rallying back to win his first Olympic medal.

It was indeed a moment of pride for the athletes, and the coaches were also ecstatic. MyKhel had a talk with Sarabjot Singh's coach Abhishek Rana, who depicted the grit and resilience of the player ahead of the final.
"After the defeat in the qualification match[individual event], any player gets disappointed. It is very difficult and takes time for anyone to recover. But he handled things very maturely. Anyone loses confidence after such defeat. The days of a sportsperson are not the same. But one needs to move on to move forward to reach greater heights," Rana said MyKhel from Paris.
"I am his coach since 2016, since his day 1. He started as a professional under me. He has been tough mentally and the best thing about him is that he listens to my advice. He never gives any excuse for tiredness and works hard," he added.
Manu and Sarabjot teamed up superbly and the reciprocation between them was a key factor. There were times when Manu Bhaker stepped up to overcome Sarabjot's struggles and in the end the team effort took the duo over the line.
"They have a great partnership and rhythm. Manu and Sarabjot have won national and international medals in the past. They have an excellent understanding," Rana said when asked about Manu-Sarabjot bonding.
It started with disappointment for the Ambala-born shooter, but ended on a massive high. And Rana heaped praises on his disciple and says they are returning to India with happy memories.
"The way we missed out on the individual event by just a point, a player always gets disappointed but it inspires more to perform even better, give our best and move forward to a new journey. We are going back home with a great memory and a medal," he concluded.
