Olympics 2024 Schedule for August 1: On day six of the competition at Paris 2024, shooter Swapnil Kusale will aim for a medal as the rest of the Indian shooting as well as boxing, badminton and hockey team will look to get closer to medal rounds.

Swapnil will look to add to India’s Olympics 2024 Medal Tally when he competes in the 50m rifle 3 positions men’s final. Women’s 50m rifle 3 positions shooters Anjum Moudgil and Sift Kaur Samra also will look to qualify for the final on an action-packed day for India.

With athletics action starting, Indian race walkers also will be in medal events as Akshdeep Singh, Vikash Singh and Paramjeet Singh Bisht will compete in the men’s 20km race walk event, while Priyanka Goswami will be the lone athlete in the women’s 20km race walk event.

The top singles shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will be in round of 16 action, where HS Prannoy also could join them, while top doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will compete in the men’s doubles quarterfinal.

Plus, a lone archer will be in individual elimination rounds as Pravin Ramesh Jadhav will contest in the men's individual 1/32 and potentially the 1/16 round if he progresses. Also, boxer Nikhat Zareen will look to seal a quarterfinal spot in Women’s 50kg category event.

Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will begin their Olympics action in men’s event in Round 1, while the men’s hockey team, which has already sealed a quarterfinal spot, will look to push for a top-place finish in group when they play their penultimate pool stage match.
