Olympics 2024 Schedule for August 2: On day seven of the competition at Paris 2024, two-time bronze winner Manu Bhaker will look to qualify for yet another final as athletes, sailors, golfers and shuttlers will continue action.
Bhaker will look to get closer to adding to India’s Olympics 2024 Medal Tally when she competes in the 25m women’s pistol qualification event alongside Esha Singh. Skeet shooter Anant Jeet Singh Naruka also will compete in men’s qualification event.
With athletics action continuing, Indian track & field athletes will be in qualification action as shot putter Tajendrapal Singh Toor will be in men's shot put quallfier, while Ankita and Parul Chaudhary will compete in the women's 5000m qualifiers.
The top singles shuttler Lakshya Sen will look to seal a semi-final spot in men's singles event when he plays in the quarterfinal. Mixed archery team of Dhiraj Bommadevara and Ankita Bhakat will compete in elimination rounds and the pair will look to land a medal in the event.
Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will continue their Olympics action in men’s event in Round 1, which was interrupted midway through the proceedings due to lightning in Paris.
Meanwhile the men’s hockey team, which has already sealed a quarterfinal spot, will look to seal a second-place finish in the group when they play their ultimate pool stage match. In rowing, Balraj Panwar will compete in the non-medal final.
The lone Judo player Tulika Maan also will be in women's +78kg elimination rounds and potentially in the medal rounds should she progress. The two sailors also will continue their Olympic campaign. Here is the Indian Olympics 2024 schedule for August 2:
