Olympics 2024 Schedule for August 4: On day nine of the competition at Paris 2024, Lakshya Sen, Lovlina Borgohain and the Indian men’s hockey team will be in focus, while track & field athletes, shooters, sailors and golfers will continue their action.

Borgohain, a bronze winner at Tokyo 2020, will look to assure herself of another bronze and add to Olympics 2024 Medal Tally when she competes in the women’s 75kg middleweight quarterfinal.

Olympics 2024 Schedule on August 4 for India in Paris

The men’s hockey team will look to get closer to the medal rounds when they compete in the quarterfinal. The Indian men's team, which won the bronze medal three years ago in Tokyo, will face Great Britain in a rematch from the last Olympics quarter-final.

The lone shuttler carrying India’s challenge, Lakshya Sen will also look to guarantee himself a medal when he plays in the men’s singles semi-final on Sunday (August 4). A defeat will also give him a chance of a bronze medal via the third-pace playoff, but a place in the final confirms at least a silver.

On the penultimate day of shooting in Paris Olympic Games, Vijayveer Sidhu and Anish Bhanwala will look to qualify for the medal round in men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event, while women’s skeet shooters Maheshwari Chauhan and Raiza Dhillon will be in day 2 of qualification action.

Indian track & field athletes will also be in action as Parul Chaudhary will look to put behind the disappointment from 5000m heats when she competes in women’s 3000m steeplechase heats. Long Jumper Jeswin Aldrin also will be in men’s long jump qualification action.
