India has won a total of 37 medals at the Olympics so far with 10 golds, 9 silver and 18 bronze. Shooter Manu Bhaker became the latest addition to the illustrious list of Indian Olympic medallists with a double bronze in Paris 2024.
Bhaker, who clinched the copper metal in women's 10m air pistol event, joined an even more elusive list in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024 as she clinched a second bronze medal on Tuesday (July 30).

The 22-year-old won the bronze medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol alongside Sarabjot Singh. She can shoots for further glory in the women's 25m pistol event in the Summer Olympics in Paris.
With her scond medal in Paris, Bhaker became the first Indian to win more than onemedal at the same Olympics. Apart from her, a few members of the men's hockey team, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, boxer Lovlina Borgohain and weightlifter Mirabai Chanu could also become multi-time medallists.
They are likely to join distinguished company with a medal at the Paris Olympics in the coming days. As it stands, 41 athletes or sports personalities from India have won an Olympic medal more than one time.
