For the first time in 10 years, ONE Championship heads back to the Middle East with a card stacked to the gills across four different martial arts on Qatari soil.

The world's largest martial arts organization holds ONE 166: Qatar this Friday, 1 March, live from Lusail Sports Arena with a trifecta of World Title fights to celebrate the occasion.

At the top of the bill, ONE Middleweight MMA World Champion defends his crown against two-weight ONE World Champion Anatoly Malykhin in a heated grudge match 15 months in the making.

Their first encounter at ONE on Prime Video 5 in December 2022 saw Malykhin slay De Ridder inside one round to claim the latter's ONE Light Heavyweight MMA World Championship in destructive fashion.

"Sladkiy" then claimed his second successive World Title against Arjan Bhullar at ONE Friday Fights 22 in June 2023. The Russian juggernaut mauled Bhullar across two and a half rounds to add the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Championship to his collection. And now he wants a historic third belt.

Meanwhile, De Ridder has been biding his time since the fateful knockout after having a 16-fight unbeaten run. The phenomenal streak saw him pick up two ONE World Titles along the way.

Now down to one crown, the Dutchman has licked his wounds and will look to put Malykhin's dreams to bed and hang on to the ONE Middleweight MMA World Title in the process.

Elsewhere, two more World Title rematches will take center stage when ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Tang Kai meets interim titleholder Thanh Le in a unification bout following their first encounter at ONE 160 in August 2022.

On top of that, ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Jarred Brooks makes the first defense of his crown against former king Joshua "The Passion" Pacio in one of the most heated rivalries in recent memory.
