Tawanchai PK Saenchai remains the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion after he was taken into deep waters once again by #3-ranked contender "Smokin" Jo Nattawut.
The Thai superstar escaped the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, with a majority decision victory after five highly entertaining rounds of action in the ONE 167 main event on Saturday, June 8.

Tawanchai looked sharp in the early goings as he landed his signature left kick repeatedly on the body and arms of the advancing Nattawut.
Nattawut turned the tide in the third round with a right hand that caused the featherweight Muay Thai king's eye to swell. The remainder of the fight was razor-close, as the pair put on an epic show that did justice to their memorable first encounter last year.
In the end, Tawanchai marked the third defence of his 26-pound gold belt and went 2-0 in the all-Thai rivalry.
In the co-headliner, Rodtang Jitmuangnon was in vintage form as he out-landed the ultra-aggressive Denis Puric on his way to a unanimous decision win.
"The Iron Man" showed off refined footwork and counterpunching among periods of characteristically wild exchanges, ultimately landing the cleaner shots throughout the non-title catchweight kickboxing fight.
Rodtang's 15th win under the ONE banner potentially sets up a mouthwatering showdown with Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa later this year. Here is a look at the ONE 167 Results:
